Financial Aid Obtain a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) from either your guidance office or our financial aid office as soon as possible after January 1. Submit the FAFSA by March 1 in order to receive maximum consideration for need-based funds. List Transylvania’s code (001987) on the FAFSA form in order to determine the amount of aid for which you might qualify at Transylvania. The university will begin mailing comprehensive award packages in March.
